【摘 要】 论文根据图书馆学方法论中的移植和借鉴理论，采用比较分析方法，对中美图书馆学界的公共文化服务的观点进行分析、探讨、比较和归纳，得出以下结论：美国图书馆学界的公共文化服务的观点具有新颖性和创造性，但也存在一些欠缺之处；中国图书馆学界的公共文化服务的观点也有其先进性和实用性，中国图书馆学界应有选择地借鉴和移植美国图书馆学界相关研究的精华部分。

【Abstracts】 According to the theory of transplantation and drawing lessons in library science methodology, and adopting comparative analytical method, this paper carries on the analysis, discussion, comparing and sums up the viewpoint of educational circles of Sino-America li-braries on the public cultural service, drawing the following conclusions: The view of the public culture service of the educational circles of American library has emergent novelty and creativity, but there are some places deficient; The viewpoint on the public culture of the educational circles of China library service has their advance and practicability too. The educational circles of Chinese library should draw lessons from and transplant the quintessence part of the relevant research of the educational circles of American library selectively.
