对图书馆服务深度的反思

【摘 要】 论文从图书馆服务的普惠性、文献检索的不可替代性、馆员专业背景的局限性、读者需求的客观性及图书馆服务的现实需求等方面出发,对图书馆服务深度取向失效作了反思。指出图书馆服务的价值不在服务的深浅,而在服务的效用。强调图书馆要大力推进服务广度,要从读者需要和图书馆实际两个角度出发,扎实推进服务深度的理论研究和实践探索,促进图书馆事业健康发展。

【Abstracts】  From the general favor of library services, irreplaceable of document retrieval, the limitations of librarian professional background, objectivity of the reader needs and the current demand for library services, this paper reflects the failure on the depth of services. It points out that the value of library services is not in the depth of services, while in the service effectiveness. We should vigorously move forward the breadth of library services, push theoretical study and practical exploration on in-depth service from the need of the readers and condition of the library, and promote the healthy development of librarianship.
