The Influence of the Publicity Campaigns for World Book and Copyright Day on the Librarianship in China
Abstract World Reading Day is a festival for both readers and libraries. It has been 10 years since China’s library circle firstly launched a series of publicity campaigns for the celebration of World Reading Day in 2004. These activities have generally six distinctive characteristics and exerted a positive and profound influence on the development of the librarianship in China in many aspects.
