July 24 : Today is the birthday of Dumas,one of the most famous French writers of the 19th century.

Alexandre Dumas was born on 24 July, 1802.He was a one-quater black for his grandfather had married a salve while serving as a government official in what is now Hatti. Dumas is best known for the historical novels The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo, both written within the space of two years, 1844-45, and which belong to the foundation works of popular culture.
